BENEFITS TO ALASKAN NATIVES


NANA employs 11% of the members  of  the Inupiat Eskimo Tribe  who are of
working age (ages 18-64).

In 2004, NANA paid $26.9 Million in total wages to Native American employees.

NANA provides close to $400,000 in academic scholarships annually to 312
Eskimo students

NANA pays dividends to Inupiat Eskimo shareholders.  

The Qivliq Companies’ 2004 proceeds from operations contributed over $4
Million to help fund cultural and educational programs and provide dividends to
the over 11,000 Alaskan Native shareholders of NANA.
